NiteSafe Sensor II Plug-In Night Light & Emergency Torch
The Sensor II is the new and improved model offering a choice of Motion Sensor or Dusk Till Dawn with Motion Sensor modes. It also features a high-powered COB LED producing up to 130 lumens when used in torch mode, together with automatic power failure lighting and handheld torch functionality.
How To Use
- Plug In & Charge: Keep the torch seated inside the plug-in charging cradle with the wall socket switched on.
- Motion Sensor Mode: When first plugged in, the Sensor II defaults to Motion Sensor mode. In low or dark light, the front LEDs automatically activate when motion is detected and remain on for approximately 20 seconds before switching off.
- Dusk Till Dawn + Motion Sensor Mode: Press the button on the front of the torch while it is inside the charging cradle. In this mode, the front LEDs automatically turn on in low light and increase in brightness when motion is detected before returning to a constant night light.
- Power Failure Mode: When seated in the cradle, the top LEDs automatically turn on during a power cut or if the wall socket is switched off. From a full charge, the Sensor II provides up to 5 hours of light in power failure mode.
- Handheld Torch: Remove the torch from the cradle at any time and the top LEDs will activate automatically. Press the front button to switch to the front LED light, press again for SOS flashing mode, and press once more to turn all lights off.
- High-Powered Torch: The Sensor II features a high-powered COB LED producing up to 130 lumens when used in torch mode.
Where To Use
Ideal for homes, hallways, landings, bedrooms, kitchens, near fuse boxes, guest accommodation, holiday lets, rental properties, and other areas where automatic night lighting and emergency blackout lighting are required.
Night Light & Sensor Operation
The night light feature activates whenever the Sensor II detects ambient light levels lower than natural daylight. This can be caused by shadows, objects partially covering the unit, or the time of day, depending on where the torch is plugged in.
For best performance, position the Sensor II in a location where the light sensor has a clear view of the surrounding ambient light conditions.
Please Note
- The product is intended to remain in the plug-in charging cradle for the majority of the time.
- Power cut detection only works when the torch has sufficient charge and is correctly seated in the cradle with the wall socket switched on.
- The night light responds to ambient light levels, so shadows, objects partially covering the unit, or low daylight levels may cause it to activate.
- The Sensor II provides up to 5 hours of emergency light in power failure mode from a full charge.
- The high-powered COB LED produces up to 130 lumens when used in torch mode.
